Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabric Needle Case Kit, Alice Caroline

Stylish, compact, and oh-so-satisfying to make, this Liberty Needle Case is a gorgeous little project using the traditional English Paper Piecing (EPP) method. It's a lovely way to keep your needles safe and organised-whether nestled in your sewing box or tucked into your travel kit.

You'll piece together a charming hexagon front using a selection of Liberty Tana Lawn® prints, before constructing the needle case with simple quilting techniques. Once the front is stitched, assembly is straightforward and beginner-friendly. Whether you choose to use a machine or stitch by hand. Felt pages inside provide a soft spot for your needles, and the case is finished with a neat strip binding and button clasp.

It’s a wonderful small-scale make, ideal for gifting or enjoying a bit of mindful stitching for yourself. And if this is your first taste of EPP, be warned-it’s highly addictive!

Kit includes:

• 100% cotton fabric for background and lining
• Wool-mix felt for needle pages
• 15mm button for the clasp

You will need:

• Scissors
• Pins
• Sewing machine or hand needle and thread
• Grid ruler
• Rotary cutter and mat
• Erasable fabric marker
• Optional: fabric glue pen, pinking shears
• Lightweight iron-on interfacing – 1¾" x 4" (4.45cm x 10.2cm)
• Wadding – 5" x 5¾" (12.7cm x 14.6cm)

Finished size: 2⅞" x 5" (7.3cm x 12.7cm)
